Imagine Indian taste with French finesse. Tantalizing textures & combinations without the heavy, buttery sauces. Artistically arranged plates, not the high piles of rice and vegetables swimming in thick sauces so familiar to Indian Buffet goers.
We discovered this restaurant some two years ago when it first opened but made the mistake of over-ordering, overeating and therefore overspending. Just because the items sounded interesting, we did not have to have them all at once.:-( This time, we scaled back and shared an appetizer and two entrees: one a meat one and one a vegetarian one. The combination was perfect. As dessert, we again chose a healthy one and a scrumptious one (mango & berries + the little balls in syrup).
In addition to the beautiful food, we really appreciated the quietness of the restaurant, its tasteful décor and the gentle restful modern Indian music. Highly recommended for people for small appetites who like to surprise their taste buds. Debu’s Nouvelle Indian Cuisine.
Combinaison intéressante: les goûts Indous préparés à la française. Des consistances alléchantes mais sans la présence de sauces épaisses au beurre. Des plats présentés avec finesse au lieu des piles de riz et de légumes flottants dans des sauces lourdes, caractéristiques des buffets Indiens.
Nous avions découvert ce restaurant il y a deux ans, il venait à peine d’ouvrir mais avons commis l’erreur de commander de trop, de manger de trop et donc de payer de trop. Juste parce que les plats étaient si alléchants, il n’était pas nécessaire de tout commander en une seule fois. Avertis pendant notre seconde visite, nous avons partagé une entrée; ensuite nous avons pris un plat de viande accompagné d’un plat végétarien de légumes variés. La combinaison était idéale. Comme dessert, nous avons choisi un dessert sain (fraises et mangue) et un dessert de boulettes sucrées en sirop.
En plus de la cuisine exquise, nous avons également aimé le calme du restaurant, son intérieur moderne aménagé avec beaucoup de goût et sa musique d’ambiance Indienne , calme et reposante. Debu’s Nouvelle Indian Cusine – fortement recommandé aux gens aux petits appétits mais qui veulent surprendre leurs papilles gustatives.
